Program Partners

The Scenic City Certification Program was developed through a partnership of 18 statewide organizations that, together, comprise the Scenic City Program Council to promote best practices for a city’s well-planned and well-designed public roadways and public spaces – including streetscapes, gateway corridors, parks, trails, activity centers, points of interest, and more.   The application, evaluation and certification process is overseen by the Program Council, the state’s top associations engaged in municipal planning, engineering, local governance, beautification, historic preservation, revitalization, and economic development.
